Terms of Service

These terms take effect on October 26, 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Beyond Persona ("BP", "we", "us") at beyondpersona.ai. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

• A 288-item personality assessment that measures 36 traits. Results are organised into three layers, Innate Temperament (Ground), Preference (Lens) and Metacognition (Mirror), and a Trait Combination (Resonance) analysis of how the traits of the three layers work together.
• AI-written commentary based on your results, and an AI agent conversation that uses credits
• Relationship analysis when every participant agrees to take part
• With your consent, a connection that lets an AI tool you use (Claude, ChatGPT and others) read your own results
• A free 76-item test, sample results and public reference pages
• The Service is offered in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese

BP is a tool for self-understanding and reflection. It is not a medical, psychiatric or clinical diagnostic tool and does not replace professional advice. The "nearest MBTI type" shown in your results is an estimate from BP's scores, not the result of taking the MBTI assessment.

2. Accounts

• You sign in with a Google account. Other sign-in methods may be added.
• You must be at least 14 years old. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use paid features.
• You are responsible for the security of the account you sign in with and for activity under your BP account.
• One account per person. We may suspend duplicate accounts.

3. Payments and access

• BASIC is sold as a one-time payment at a beta price. PLUS and PREMIUM are not yet on sale.
• You can take the paid assessment once per account. After you receive your results, you cannot take the paid assessment again with the same account. You can take the free test as many times as you like.
• Items you answered in the free test are carried over to the paid assessment and are not asked again. Your free test result stays as it is.
• AI commentary is provided in the language of your purchase. Commentary in other languages is not included in that purchase.
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle's terms apply to the payment itself.
• We may grant access without payment for beta testing, compensation or correcting errors. Granted access follows the conditions and period stated when it was granted, and we withdraw it only if it was granted in error or misused.
• Credits for the AI agent cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
• Refunds follow the Refund Policy.

4. Referral program

• You may share your referral code. When someone who signed up with your code makes a payment, you are allocated the payment amount net of tax multiplied by your share rate. Payments where you referred yourself are not counted.
• Your share rate is shown on the referral screen. A change in the rate applies to payments made after the change. The rate of payments already made does not change.
• An allocated amount is confirmed when the buyer starts their analysis and can no longer get a refund. If the buyer is refunded, the allocation for that payment is cancelled.
• Confirmed amounts are settled on the settlement day each month. We will tell you the payout method before settlement, and if the law requires us to withhold tax, we pay the amount after withholding.
• As a referrer, you see only the first part of the buyer's email (the rest is masked), the product and the allocated amount.
• We may change or end the program. Changes that are unfavourable to you will be announced at least 30 days in advance under section 11. Confirmed amounts will be settled regardless of any change or end of the program.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose
• reverse engineer the Service or try to extract its source code, question set or models
• scrape or systematically extract data from the Service. Receiving your own results through the AI tool connection described in section 1 is not scraping.
• generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory or infringes the rights of others
• share, resell or sublicense access to your account
• try to manipulate the AI systems, for example through prompt injection

6. Intellectual property

• The Service, including the 36-trait model, the questions, the archetype profiles and the method, belongs to Beyond Persona.
• You may use your own results and commentary for personal purposes. You may not republish or distribute them commercially. Passing your own results to an AI tool you have connected, for your own use, is a personal purpose.
• You allow us to process your assessment data to produce your analysis and, in de-identified form, to improve the Service.

7. AI-written content

Commentary and agent replies are written by third-party AI models. They may contain errors or interpretations that do not match you, may differ each time they are generated, and should be read as material for reflection rather than as a definitive judgment. Answers that an AI tool you connected writes from your BP results are produced by that tool, not by BP.

8. Liability

We provide the Service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. This limit does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law of your country does not allow such a limit.

9. Suspension and deletion

• You can delete your account at any time from your profile screen. We keep the data for 30 days so you can change your mind, then erase it. Payment records that the law requires us to keep are kept separately for the period stated in the Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
• Please make any refund request before deleting your account.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived by contract. We will first try to settle any dispute by discussion. If that fails, the Seoul Central District Court has jurisdiction, without affecting any court that the mandatory law of your country assigns to consumers.

11. Changes

We will announce changes on this page and by email at least 10 business days before they take effect. Changes that are unfavourable to you will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
