What a personal color analysis does
The analysis reads skin, eye and hair colour to locate a family of shades that work on you. Four seasons at the coarse level, finer divisions inside each. Its value is the time you stop losing in front of a rail of clothes or a shelf of cosmetics. Some people self-assess roughly; others sit under controlled lighting with fabric held to the face.
- Reads skin, eye, hair
- Four seasons at the coarse level
- Cuts time spent choosing
Why self-assessment often misses
Plenty of people try it themselves and land somewhere off. Lighting changes how the same face reads, and a colour on a screen is not the colour of the fabric. Results from a self-assessment and from a session frequently disagree. Knowing what the judgement rests on makes that gap easier to accept.
- Lighting shifts the read
- Screen colour differs from fabric
- Disagreement is common
The same errand underneath
Someone booking a colour session and someone taking a personality test are after the same thing: what suits me. Colour looks for it in what is visible; traits look for it in how you judge and react. The objects differ, so neither substitutes for the other.
What measuring traits shows
It separates out which ways of judging you lean on hardest: what you look at first when deciding, which reaction keeps repeating around people, which situations drain you. If colour cuts the time lost choosing clothes, this cuts the time lost working out how to handle people and what work to take.
- What you check first when deciding
- Reactions that repeat
- What drains you
How far the free version goes
The free assessment costs nothing. Alongside the type story you get a card for how hard you lean on each way of judging, and a flag when a function outside your type profile runs strong. It finishes about as quickly as a colour session and the result is there straight away.
